What are school readiness activities ?

Thanks to the preparatory classes, the child has the opportunity to use his/her creative potential and acquired skills for intellectual development. The pedagogue uses the methods of hand therapy, fairy tale therapy, drama, the Gruszczyk-Kolczyńska method of mathematics, the method of global reading and many other methods that foster the child's development.

The main focus of the classes is to ensure that children are comprehensively ready to learn in the first grade. We nurture the child's psychomotor development by preparing them in terms of the functions underlying writing, reading and counting skills. In addition, we ensure social development by socialising in a peer group.

Specific objectives:

▪ Improving the motor skills necessary for learning to write;

▪ Developing auditory and visual sensitivity;

▪ Developing manual dexterity;

▪ development of speech and language skills

▪ Improving speaking skills;

▪ Perceiving and understanding rhythms;

▪ Improving articulatory organs;

▪ developing the ability to analyse and synthesise words and sentences

▪ Improving and practising graphomotor skills

▪ developing artistic sensitivity

▪ Exercise of auditory memory;

▪ developing children's curiosity while directing them to explore the world around them

▪ building self-confidence and enhancing self-esteem

▪ building social bonds within the peer group

▪ Improving social skills by playing together

Who are the classes for?

The classes consist of group work (group of about 4-5 people) through which the child acquires the necessary educational and social skills needed for school. The classes are designed for children aged 5-7 years.

At the request of parents, classes can be held individually.
