What does adult psychological therapy consist of?

Adult psychotherapy is a journey into oneself. It is possible to get to know oneself even better, to become aware of what our specific behaviours, our functioning in everyday life, result from.

When you need psychological therapy?

Very often we are confronted with our inner fears, sometimes we have many situations from the past to work through, which project onto our present situation. If symptoms arise, such as:

  • anxiety disorders,
  • eating disorders,
  • aggression,
  • depression or depressed mood,

then it is worth considering undertaking psychotherapy.

Who is psychotherapy for?

Adult psychotherapy is dedicated to people who face anxiety and have trouble functioning properly in everyday life.

What it looks like psychological therapy?

Psychotherapy is based on the relationship between psychotherapist and patient. What is important here is the patient's willingness to take a journey into himself, to face his own fears. Meetings are held periodically and the regularity of the meetings and the patient's motivation are important here.

How long do the classes last?

A single class with a therapist lasts: 50 minutes

How long does the whole therapy take?

The duration of psychotherapy is individually tailored for each patient.

How to prepare for a visit?

The first meeting is a get-to-know-you meeting, where we get to know the psychotherapist with whom we will be working. A contract, expectations and a plan for regular meetings are established.
