ADHD disorder

ADHD

ADHD disorder in children and adolescents is diagnosed after the age of 6, but parents are able to notice symptoms earlier.

It was very common for children referred for a diagnosis of ADHD in the earlier years to have sensory integration disorders, trouble concentrating or to develop increased anxiety. In children over the age of six and in adolescents with attention deficit disorder, this manifested as severe hyperactivity and impulsivity, sometimes with sleep and anxiety disorders.

Worth doing full diagnosis for ADHDto make it easier for the child to function.

Diagnosis

DIAGNOSIS STAGE I

The first stage of diagnosis is a meeting with the Psychologist, to which parents are invited alone. During such a meeting, a developmental history is taken and a history of ADHD is taken.

Cost of meeting with a Psychologist: PLN 250

STAGE III DIAGNOSIS

A meeting for your child with a Psychologist who is also a certified Moxo diagnostician. The meeting consists of talking to the patient and conducting the Moxo test, which is considered the gold standard for diagnosing ADHD disorders. It is encouraged that the examination be conducted in the morning or around midday.

Cost of meeting with Psychologist + Moxo test: PLN 600

STAGE II DIAGNOSIS

After the first meeting, parents are given psychological tests to fill in. These should be brought to the facility at the next meeting....

Cost of psychological testing: £220

STAGE IV DIAGNOSIS

A meeting with the parents of the child or adolescent at which they receive a set of documents from the psychological diagnosis. During such a meeting, the Psychologist suggests the selection of an appropriate therapy and suggests how to deal with difficult moments.

Cost of meeting with a Psychologist: PLN 220

V DIAGNOSIS STAGE

A meeting for parents with their child with a psychiatrist who, on the basis of the documentation to date and discussion with the Psychologist, confirms or excludes a diagnosis of ADHD. The meeting consists of a conversation, diagnosis and therapeutic or sometimes pharmacological recommendations. Everything is done in one visit, so the diagnosis process is relatively short. When you see the doctor, the doctor may recommend additional tests such as ECGs, blood tests and with the results you have to come back for another appointment. Everything is determined during the appointment with the psychiatrist.

Cost of a diagnostic visit to a child and adolescent psychiatrist: PLN 500
