For more than 30 years I have worked as a paediatric physiotherapist. For almost 20, I have been working with people who work with the method of NDT-Bobathand in 2010 I completed the NDT-Bobath Neurodevelopmental Therapy course myself - first Basic, then Baby and Advance. I have also completed a degree (BA), in Multi-Profile Improvement for Children with MPD.
My special area of interest and development is the infant period, with a focus on premature children. Therefore, I mainly deal with therapy and therapeutic support for children aged 0-2 years. I have been working as part of a team for many years. I cannot imagine effective therapy without working with another therapist, neurologist, psychologist, doctor, orthoptist or other specialist whose knowledge and experience could support motor and cognitive development. I believe that only teamwork, only an interdisciplinary approach, only multi-profile care and a holistic approach to the patient can result in the desired outcomes.
Since the beginning of my professional career, I have tried to improve my qualifications by participating in conferences, workshops and courses at home and abroad (e.g. the Netherlands, Greece). I have also taken part in many practical workshops led by NDT method instructors and have been a leader in NDT method courses on many occasions.
