What is triple-plane foot therapy ?

This is a neurophysiological method developed by German therapist Barbara Zukunft-Hüber and is suitable for infants and older children. Many developmental abnormalities of the lower limbs can be corrected quickly and effectively.

Tri-plane Manual Foot Deformity Therapy is a method that takes into account the physiological development of the child's feet. This therapy forms the basis for early diagnosis and treatment of abnormal foot alignment.

When to choose theliotropic foot therapy?

When your child has been diagnosed or you suspect that the foot is:

  • flat-topped,
  • sickle cell.
  • horse
  • horse and pony

or you observe any abnormality in your child's gait or foot shape.

What it looks like triplanar foot therapy?

The therapy is preceded by a thorough examination of the child. The examination focuses not only on the feet but also on the knees, hips, spine and shoulder girdle. After a thorough diagnosis, a therapy plan is agreed together with the parents. The therapy usually consists of exercises with the therapist and the continuation of these exercises at home with the parent. We often support the effect of the exercises by taping the feet with special plasters or bandaging the feet with bandages designed for tri-plane therapy.

For whom is tri-planar foot therapy?

Children from 3 months to 5 years of age.
