The child's neurological diagnosis includes:

- assessment of breathing, swallowing, food intake;
- determining the child's age-appropriate speech development;
- Assessment of auditory and visual perception.
When do you need a neurological diagnosis?
It is worth seeing a neurologist if you observe symptoms in your child such as:
- disorders of the sucking or swallowing reflex,
- delayed speech or speech defects,
- drooling,
- breathing through the mouth or problems chewing food,
- learning difficulties.
A neurological consultation is also advisable for children born prematurely, after hypoxia during birth, with low birth weight and whenever parents are concerned about their child's delayed neurological or speech therapy development.

The neurologopaedic diagnosis takes place during the first visit to our centre, to which the parent and child are invited. During this visit, an assessment of the speech apparatus is made, a full neurologopaedic examination and an interview with the parent is carried out.

The neurological diagnosis takes place during the first meeting with the Logopedist. After this meeting, parents will receive information about the diagnosis and the need for therapy and its frequency.

Please bring your child's health booklet with all medical records and samples of various foods to the appointment, which will be needed to assess digestive function. It is important that your child is rested and healthy.
